A Wings of Hope activation

An afternoon of practical support and human connection, brought together by Why Not I and Coffee 4 Craig for people experiencing homelessness.
Read the storyThe reason for the activation
Coffee 4 Craig already works with people experiencing homelessness. The activation was developed in partnership, bringing donated resources and people’s time into that existing community setting.
Why Not I’s role was to help bring together support for the day—not to replace the ongoing work around homelessness. Alongside individual donations, support came from Jerk Junction, boohooMAN, Yorkshire Dragons, Jefe’s Barbershop, Sisters & Seekers, Creo Studios, Brother & Kin, ACAP and Macclesfield Performance. People on the ground shared food, practical care and conversation.

What we can evidence
Over 100
people served at the Coffee 4 Craig activation

People who made it possible
The activation was developed by Why Not I in partnership with Coffee 4 Craig.
Jerk Junction, boohooMAN, Yorkshire Dragons, Jefe’s Barbershop, Sisters & Seekers, Creo Studios, Brother & Kin, ACAP and Macclesfield Performance supported the day alongside individual donors, volunteers and contributors.

What came from it
People received practical items and services, and had an opportunity to share food, conversation and time together.
That is the grounded record of this activation. It does not suggest that one afternoon resolved homelessness or proves a lasting improvement in mental health.
