Explore EngagementsThe Work

Why Not I puts inspiration, aspiration and mental health conversations into practice through engagements, activity-led experiences and community activations. Each takes a different form. All begin by meeting people where they are.
Explore the workThree strands
The strands are connected by one idea, but they are not interchangeable. Some begin with a conversation. Some begin with movement. Others begin with a practical need.

Why Not I Workouts
A Workout is not simply a training session. It uses an activity participants already care about—particularly sport—to make space for mental health conversations, self-awareness, reflection, learning and possibility.

Why Not I Workout
A documented basketball-focused mental-resilience day for junior England and Great Britain talent.

Why Not I Workout
A separate documented edition bringing physical challenge, breathing, reflection and conversation into the same day.
Wings of Hope
Wings of Hope brings people and organisations together around practical acts of care.
Each activation is shaped by its setting. The intention is to contribute something useful and human—not to suggest that one event solves an ongoing challenge.

Donated food, clothing and haircuts were provided alongside mental health support.

A Christmas activation involving food, toys, clothes, hair and makeup, and uplifting conversations for children.
How the work connects
Inspiration can make a possibility visible. Aspiration gives it personal direction. Implementation is the practical step—joining a conversation, taking part, asking for support or helping build an opportunity. Transformation describes what people may work towards, not an outcome any single event can promise.
